Terms of service.

Effective Date: March 23, 2024

By booking and participating in our guided hiking services, you agree to the following terms:

Booking and Cancellation

  • Cancellations made 30 days or more prior to the scheduled hike will receive a 100% refund, less a nominal service fee.

  • Cancellations made 14-29 days prior to the scheduled hike will receive a 75% refund.

  • Cancellations made 7-13 days prior to the scheduled hike will receive a 50% refund.

  • No refund will be offered for cancellations made 6 days or less prior to the scheduled hike.

  • We reserve the right to refuse service, without refund, to any participant who arrives without proper gear or fails to meet minimum fitness criteria.

Weather Events and Rescheduling

  • In the event of adverse weather conditions, such as heavy rain, thunderstorms, hurricanes, or heatwaves, we may reschedule the hike to another day or offer a partial refund.

  • Rescheduled hikes must take place within the same calendar year as the original booking.

Timeliness and Participation

  • All hikes will start at the designated time indicated at booking. Participants are responsible for arriving on time.

  • For private hikes, a 30-minute waiting period will be permitted. Failure to arrive within this time may result in cancellation without refund.

  • For group events and programs, late arrivals may result in forfeiture of participation without refund.

Gear and Transportation

  • We do not provide transportation or gear for our guided hikes. Participants must arrive with appropriate gear, including closed-toed shoes and a water bottle with water.
